Admission
Pre-admission
After your hospitalization has been agreed with your doctor our admission officer will arrange a date for your hospitalization. You will then be asked to complete and sign a consent form for admission.
If you are undergoing surgery, during the pre-admission process you will be asked to pay a deposit so that we can reserve the Operating Theater for you. Our staff will provide you with information for each area of the hospital.
Hospitalization
Allow us to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our admission team is always available to help you complete the registration process in a fast and efficient manner.
Our admission team is located on the ground floor in front of the main entrance and is open from Monday-Friday from 07:00 am to 10:00 am and 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, and Saturday’s from 7.30am to 2pm.
After office hours and for deliveries and all emergency casesyou may use the admission counter at the Accident & Emergency Department located at the ground floor. The A&E Department is open 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
Please bring the following:
- Medical Insurance and social security cards or other privilege cards (PSA, Membership)
- A list of all medications and herbal supplements you are currently taking (Please do not bring the actual medications)
- Any recent medical report, test results, imaging reports or other reports from.
- Non-Vietnamese patients need to bring their passport for registration with the local police station.
Cancellation of a Scheduled Admission
If you wish to delay or cancel your hospitalization atϲʿwe ask you to notify us at least two (2) working days prior to your scheduled admission. Cancellation notifications must be made directly to the admission officerat (84-24) 3577 1100 between 7.30 am and 5.30 pm, Monday through Friday and between 7.30am to 2.00pm on Saturday’s. Should you wish cancel an admission after office hoursplease contact our A&E Department under (84-24) 3574 1111
Day Care Admission
Normal admission time is: 7:00 a.m to 10:00 a.m.
Your doctor will decide on the best admission time for you which will be indicated on your appointment card. Please present your appointment card at the Front Office on the Ground Floor. You will then be guided to the Day Care on the second floor.
You may need to fast before your procedure or operation. Therefore please refrain from eating and drinking at least 6 hours prior to your appointment. You may drink clear water until 2 hours before your admission. Please alsorefrain from smoking at least 12 hours before the scheduled procedure.
Your doctor will provide you with specific instructions that you should follow.
After your surgery or procedure you will be escorted to the Recovery Room where dedicated staff will ensure your wellbeing and safety until you are ready to be discharged.
Your doctor will see you prior to your discharge to provide you with all necessary information and follow-up instructions.
We strongly recommend you to have somebody accompanying you back home as it is not recommended to drive after having undergone anesthesia.
Consent to treatment
If you agree to have a procedure or surgery done at our hospital we will ask you to sign a “Consent to Treatment” form. This is your acknowledgement that you have had therisks and benefits explained of the suggested treatment and have agreed to it. Our doctors will provide you with detailed information about the suggested treatment and are there for you to answer any related questions. As our patient you have the right to accept or refuse a procedure/surgery by signing the Consent Form.
