Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø’s team joins task force to assist Bac Giang in treating critical COVID-19 patients

On the 2rd June, a medical team of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø joined a mission organized byÌýthe Hanoi DepartmentÌýof Health to support the treatment of critical severe COVID-19 patients in Bac Giang province. As today, Dr. Nguyen Huu Hoang, Nurse Chu Kim Yen from Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø's Intensive Care Unit and Nurse Vu Thi YenÌýfrom Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø’s Pediatric Department left for Bac Giang.
Mr. Jef Peeters – General Director (CEO) of Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø shared: “As the first established international hospital of Hanoi, we consider this a duty to contribute to Vietnam’s national efforts in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 pandemic. We would like to congratulate and thank all staff who volunteer, as well as their families and loved ones for making this sacrifice for the benefit of the patients and the country! We are so proud of you!
BS. Nguyen Huu Hoang shared: “As an anesthesiologist, I feel very proud to represent Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø to contribute to the national cause against COVID. Personally, with my professional conscience, professionally trained, I wish to contribute appropriately to my professional expertise in the fight against COVID-19. Hopefully, the efforts of the Ministry of Health as well as the government and everyone, the COVID epidemic will be repelled."
Previously, new community infections for COVID-19 were recorded in Vietnam, including in Hanoi. City health authorities have requested that hospitals once more step up measures to protect for possible infections. In response, Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø strictly screen all patients and visitors before entering the hospital and reinforce preventive hygiene measures.
